Crystal Ball Africa Conference

Crystal Ball Africa is an annual Pan-African business conference that provides a forum for business people and professionals to take a close look at all the key issues that will impact their businesses in Africa in the year ahead. The theme for 2023 is “Africa’s New Blue Ocean – Opportunities in a Volatile World”. 

As the world emerged from Covid-19 in 2022, the Russian-Ukraine war erupted, then inflation, gas price hikes and now a looming recession in 2023.  But in the midst of all that, the global population hit 8 billion whilst Africa’s moved from 1.2 billion to 1.4 billion.  40% are young people with youthful entrepreneurship spirit and many already engaged in start-ups looking for finance. This also coincided with the AfCFTA and a fast integrating continent.
